Incorporated on 14 May 1982 as Management and Software Technology Private Limited, a business designing and delivering computer software by Indian Institute of Management students Ashank Desai, Ketan Mehta and R. Sundar. They were later joined by Sudhakar Ram - 1992
Name changed to Mastek. Mastek acquired Carter Cast Systems, a UK IT company, in order to establish a UK footprint in Theale

Engaged by Capita in the bid process for the London Congestion Charging (LCC) scheme. LCC went live in 2003, at the time the world’s largest .NET project

First IT Solutions company worldwide to be assessed at P-CMM Level 3

Mastek Foundation formed as the Corporate and Social Responsibility wing of Mastek and Majesco Ltd, with a mission of ‘Informed Giving, Responsible Receiving’.

Engaged by BT Global Services to work on the UK National Health Service programme (Spine), a central messaging and data warehousing system to hold summary health records of all UK citizens. Over 130 SPINE projects delivered over next decade

Certified on BS 7799:2002 and on ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for Management of Information Security in Software Development and Software Maintenance projects.

MajescoMastek acquired Vector Insurance Services, a technology solutions provider and third-party administrator, focusing on the North American life and annuity insurance industry.
- 2008
MajescoMastek acquired Systems Task Group (STG), an IP-based enterprise solutions provider to the North American property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
- 2010
MajescoMastek acquired SEG Software, LLC, a provider of policy administration systems covering individual and group life, health and annuity insurance products. - 2013
